Welcome to Basic Training.

Here you will learn that this whole site has absolutely nothing at all to do with the army and a lot more to do with coding. Primarily about web languages as thats the area I work with most but I tend to dabble in other languages from time to time.

I am also a very big advocate of PHP and the Zend Framework so Im hoping that I will be able to put together a bit of information and post it here from time to time. Hopefully it will be of some help to someone if not always for me.

Hopefully I will also get around to doing reviews of open source software as I’m a big fan of open source and love to try them out and think it might be a good idea to pass on my thoughts so that it might help someone else make an informed choice about a piece of software.

And on the odd occasion I am likely to just ramble on a bit about whatevers is on my mind at the time. So here’s hoping that I actually manage to make use of this site and not let it go to waste.
